The choice of fixings depends upon the positioning of your sail; however, wherever it is you will need turn buckles to stretch the sail, pad eyes or eye bolts to attach it to the existing structure or posts, and d shackles to attach the pad eyes or eyebolts to the turn buckles.

for example:

For a square sail, you will need:

• 4 x turnbuckles
• 4 x fixation: either eye bolts or pad eyes, depending on the material
• 4 x D shackle to attach the turnbuckle to the eye bolt/ eye pad, or the sail directly to the eye pad/ eyebolt
• up to 4 snaphooks to facilitate the assembly and disassembly during winter.

or a triangular sail, you will need:

• 3 x turnbuckles
• 3 x fixation: either eye bolts or pad eyes, depending on the material
• 3 x D shackle to attach the turnbuckle to the eye bolt/ eye pad, or the sail directly to the eye pad/ eyebolt
• up to 3snaphooks to facilitate the assembly and disassembly during winter.
